If you're interested in buying one of my books
or tapes, I'm happy to talk with you about them. Even if the
book only costs a few dollars, I see it as the start of a long relationship
where I continue to coach you to better health, so I don't mind investing a
few minutes to help you decide if you should make the purchase (I may be a
few days calling you back, since patient care takes first priority. I
won't spend much time answering specific questions
that are covered in the book or tape (I'll just ask you to buy the
book) but I can help you decide if the book has the
information that you need to reach your health goals.
If you wish me to help you restore or improve
your health as your physician, please let me know. I prefer to
have about a 10-minute telephone conversation before making an appointment
with a new patient to give both of us a chance to see if we think
we're a good match. You tell me briefly the problem. I tell you
briefly if I think I might could help and what strategy I might take.
If it's not a good match, no hard feelings and we don't make the
appointment. If I think I can help you and you like the idea of how I
would help, then we make the appointment.
