This plan takes you through the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice in a year. The average is about 4 chapters per day. The idea behind the plan is to take a week at a time to think about one or more books of the Bible.
The virtues refer to the virtues as outlined by Benjamin Franklin and modified by me. As Thoreau said in Walden (in the chapter called “Higher Laws,” what good does it do if you be a Christian and have not virtue?
