A few months ago, I walked down the street to ask a dear friend a question about sex. Having talked in depth with several thousand women patients about the problems and victories in the bedroom and having published the best-selling sex manual on Amazon.com, you might wonder why I would see this particular woman.
But, this is not just any friend. Amazing woman, she she co-produced the first non-medical massage manual ever published in the USA. She was lecturing about sexuality around the world (her books are in 6 different languages) when I was finishing high school and first starting to formulate my ideas about sex. She has continued to publish and lecture over the past 30 years, including the title Romantic Massage.
I do not think it chance that somehow this woman came from California and landed in a beautiful cottage hidden in her magic garden only three blocks from my home. Her name is Anne Kent Rush.
I sometimes go there for tea in her garden and we talk of health, and air, and her travels to the far east, and the people we have loved. Sometimes she will use her knowledge of pressure points and energy flow to touch some magical place on my ankle or hand and the one touch is better than an hour of massage.
So, when I decided to get help with a sex question, I just didn't ramble to any girl-next-door.
So here's the question that I asked Ms. Rush (and the question that I am frequently asked): How can a woman use sex transmutation? The whole idea that a man can increase sexual energy by controlling frequency of ejaculation is pretty plain. Without ejaculation, sexual energy increases and then the man can use that energy for more intense sexual experiences or may take that energy and transmute it into other endeavors. But how does a woman use sex transmutation?
It seems plain that women are frequently energized by orgasm while a man becomes sleepy. Women frequently have multiple back to back orgasms while such phenomenon with men is much more rare.
Don't misunderstand. I have thought deeply on this subject.
I've developed a technique for helping a woman reach ejaculation and that ninth level of orgasm that I have never seen described anywhere. I can, with my medical therapies, help women develop a very high sex energy--much to the benefit of their marriage and pleasure. But, still, how does the woman specifically transmute that energy into something other than sex (as the spiritual man or highly productive business man will do). There is usually not ejaculation to control as with men (that's just a nice occasional holiday).
I had been thinking and writing some private manuscripts on the subject but finally decided that I have a major handicap: I have a "Y" chromosome. How does a man really write in depth about a woman's sexuality, even if he has interviewed thousands of women and loved more than he would like to admit?
Hence, my visit with Ms. Rush. When we sat for tea in her garden and I asked her to co-author a manuscript on the subject, the challenge was a fresh wind that woke her imagination and made her smile. We exchanged ideas but felt there was still something missing from our understanding. We agreed to meet and talk and wonder and see what we could discover.
Then it happened!
She sent me an email one day that said, "Eureka!" When I called, she said that in a dream, she saw insight that was like plugging in the lights of a Christmas tree. All the bulbs were there, but her revelation illuminates the grandeur and makes it applicable.
Yes, there will be a book coming soon. But, first she and I will be presenting the ideas (hers, mine, and how they work together) at a series of small gatherings. Here's the idea, we think that combining integrative sex transmutation as practiced by the man with IST with the woman can bring a revolution to a relationship. But, both she and I still consider ourselves students. I still try to learn from every patient and every adult and child that talks to me more than 10 minutes. We think that these ideas would best be presented initially in a relatively small forum where couples come together in a beautiful place, hear our ideas, and give us ideas about how our ideas actually work in their lives. And there will be "homework" so you may want to get a room for the night.
I'm already getting email from around the world about how IST is changing lives and marriages. I'm shipping to book stores around the world (the Japanese translation sells more than the English version). So, we are very hopeful about how this new addition can add more intensity to the sexual and life experience of a couple.
