The number one reason people don't lose weight is because they don't find time to walk daily. The new government recommendations, 60-90 minutes of walking per day, finally tell the real truth (the old advice, "20 or 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week" is a recipe for obesity). If you set a goal of 3 miles per day, you will see all the benefit you need and if you go slowly one day you will receive all the benefit that you would receive if you go the same distance at a faster rate.
