You should, in 5 minutes of reading this newsletter, find something you can do today to find better health…or I failed with this note and only cluttered your in-box with more spam. Every letter will also offer something for free.
For the next month, you can access for free a Health Action Group on Sunday’s at 9:30 Central Time. Consider calling in if you have questions or if you have tips about what you’ve found to be helpful in the quest for better health. Sometimes people need to hear my opinion as a physician. But sometimes, people need to hear about your success to regain hope from the testimony of someone who’s recently made an improvement.
I’ll cover a short 2 minute topic to open the discussion, then I’ll open the mike to whoever has questions or comments. Hopefully, this will be a useful mastermind group to inspire us all to do what we know to work and find new ideas that others have discovered. I often learn from my patients, so I’m looking forward to teaching and learning.

Huge mistake that's been spouted by physicians for years needs to be squelched now..."get your heart rate up for 20 or 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week" and that's all you need to do....BULL!!! Finally the truth is starting to come out in the medical research. It's not about heart rate...it's about miles (at any speed). Here' s a recent article that's coming around to proving what I noticed 20 years ago working at the YMCA...it's not the diet...anybody who walks 3 miles a day every day will have a normal weight. But most people will use all their will power to endure a restrictive diet but never get around to the walking (partly because they dread the pain of getting their heart rate to a certain point (which is not necessary). Go for miles at any speed and enjoy the walk. Here's the latest news report that supports this strategy.
If you want to know more about how to put this strategy to work: I highly recommend my CD, "How to go for a walk every day and enjoy every step."

Presently making arrangements to begin another study with Small Pox Vaccine. I consider it a great patriotic contribution by anyone who participates in this study. If you're interested in participating and live within 200 miles of Mobile, Alabama; please respond by simply clicking here and then click send. I will keep you up-to-date as the study progresses. As a chemist (before medical school), I helped design instrumentation now used for the early detection of chemical warfare agents. I think that civilians can contribute in important ways to our national defense and support democracy and our soldiers at war. Consider at least keeping up with the progress of this study. There's also some compensation for travel time and trouble that will be paid to those who participate (amount still being negotiated).
Here's a simple little breakfast that's easy and quick to prepare and tastes great and heart health and only about 280 calories:
